Can I change the night that I signed up for online?
Yes, you can. Sign up for a new night under the Volunteer Sign Up section and notify us via email, Ramride@ascsu.colostate.edu, or a message through Contact Us .
What is your insurance policy?
Our Insurance policy is through Motor Pool, through CSU’s Transportation Services. Please click on the link to find more information. http://www.facilities.colostate.edu/index.asp?url=vehicles/insurance
Do I need to have my transcript?
RamRide no longer requires academic transcripts to sign up for an evening at RamRide.
How can I check to see if I am signed up for a night?
The best way to confirm is by emailing RamRide@ascsu.colostate.edu. Please provide the date and your full name when you send an email requesting confirmation for the day you signed up for.
What Information do I need if I want to be driver, navigator or dispatcher?
Driver: copy of a valid driver's license, copy of your health insurance policy, copy of your car insurance policy, and a proof of a valid Colorado State University ID.
Navigator: copy of a valid driver's license, copy of a current health insurance policy, and proof of Colorado State University ID
Dispatcher: Proof of Colorado State University ID. Please turn in the above paperwork for the respected position before 5:00 pm on the Wednesday of the week you are volunteering if you have not already this academic year. We can reference back to paperwork within each academic year, however we cannot reference back to paperwork turned in previous academic years.
What time do we start, end and where do I show up to volunteer for RamRide?
The night that you are volunteering please, show up at 8:30 pm at the RamRide’s Operations Office located in the Lory Student Center Room 51. It is behind the transit center and across from the Ram’s Corner Store. On Thursday night dispatcher get to leave at 2:00 am, drivers and navigator volunteer until no more rides are left. On Friday and Saturday night dispatcher get to leave at 3:00 am, drivers and navigator volunteer until no more rides are left. Please sit in the chairs and tables near the RamRide Office, LSC 51, until a staff member is ready for you.
Can I volunteer for RamRide if I am by myself?
Yes, you can. Just follow the instructions for the question “I am interested in doing RamRide, but do not know how?”
I am interested in doing RamRide, but do not know how?
If you are interested in volunteering for RamRide please fill out the 'volunteer application' (You only need to do this once an academic year) and then click on volunteering a night(has a calendar with available dates)and sign up for a available spot on the date you will like to volunteer. Also, please remember to turn in the respective paperwork for the position you are interested in. Click Here to see the respective paperwork you need for every position.
